Netflow setup on 1720 12.0(3)T

Hello,

I'm trying to get netflow setup on a 1720 as I've done on some of my other routers. When I enter the "ip route-cache flow" statement in configuration mode on the first interface it's not recognized. Here's what I get:

MGD_router(config)#interface FastEthernet 0

MGD_router(config-if)#ip route-cache flow

^

% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

I'll paste my show version in as well. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?

Thanks,

-Noah

Yes. All newer IOS requires more DRAM.

The carrot should be under the "f" in flow from the ip "route-cache flow" statement. Format is tough to get right on here.

Re: Netflow setup on 1720 12.0(3)T

You need 'IP Plus' for 'ip route-cache flow'.

'IP Plus' on that release requires 20MB DRAM and you only have 16MB DRAM.

If you are looking to implement this feature on this router, I recommend upgrading the DRAM and IOS.

Thanks EdisonOrtiz. Any chance I can just upgrade it to a new IOS w/o upgrading the DRAM or will the newer IOS require more DRAM as well?
