Nexus 5K/2K question

HI,

I am trying to simply add a port on the N2148 to a VLAN. Once I added it the interface is still showing inactive.

Is there anything else I need to do?

Thanks,

Randall

Re: Nexus 5K/2K question

Have you created the VLAN using the 'vlan X' command? If not then please do this on the 5K and the port should revert to ACTIVE.

Re: Nexus 5K/2K question

It ended up being I needed to connfigure the other 5K FEX port as well and it came active.

Re: Nexus 5K/2K question

Your original post did not mention you were running FEX in Active/Active configuration. Anyways, as of now manual configuration synchronization is required between the two N5Ks for FEX in Active/Active.

Re: Nexus 5K/2K question

Why is active/active required?
