NM-2W and HWIC-4B-S/T

Hi,

I wanted to confirm if NM-2W supports HWIC-4B-S/T in the WAN slots.

I have conflicting information:

On NM-2W says that it does not support HWIC modules or the module.

On specs of the ISDN card, it says

Supported in NM-1FE2W-V2, NM-1FE1R2W, NM-2FE2W-V2, and NM-2W

Can not be inserted into a mixed-media network module

I am kind of confused.

Can you please assist or anyone had an experience installing these cards on a NM-2W

Hi Ashley,

No. It does not supported on NM-2W. Please see the note at the beginning of table 2 in the below link..

(High-density WAN interface cards (HWICs) are not supported on 1- or 2-slot network modules).

With ref to the second link in your posting- The ISDN card specs comparing the NM-4B-S/T (supported by NM-2W) and HWIC-4B-S/T.
