The command
"no ip mroute-cache"
is added by default on my router config.
What does it do exactly?

It disables fast switching of multicast packet on the interface on the Cisco router. Check
If you are not routing multicast packets (which is also the default) , it is insignificant.

Hi,
generally "mroute" refers to IP multicast.
So it basically does deactivate fast-switching for multicast traffic.
