I recently migrated to a new internet provider and have configured my router for BGP. This morning I started geting this message in my log:
*Jan 26 06:34:35: %TCP-6-BADAUTH: No MD5 digest from X.X.X.X:X to X.X.X.X:11002 (RST).
Is this a result of BGP not being fully implemented until this weekend or is it someone trying to hack into my router?
Thanks

Hello,
I think this message is generated when somebody is trying to hack your router but is unable to do so, because of the configured MD5 authentication.
Regards,
GP

This can simply be due to the previous unauthenticated session trying to send its TCP reset message, which will be rejected because of the very fact that it is not authenticated.
I would start to worry if you see lots and lots of these massages.
Hope this helps,
