PPP connection is terminated because of the error message " Non-NCP packet discaring".

I would like to know what is the cause of this error message and any workaround to solve it.

thanks in advance

Hi, the most likely cause is that the remote system doesn't like the "auth req" sent by router twice, procced to close but some garbage is received hence the invalid packet.

Try "callin" in "ppp authentication" to not try to authenticate remote.

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!
