nothing to console in VPN C

Hello and PLZ Help Me

I tried to console to a VPN C 3005 using RS 232 cable with 2 DB 9 Female at both side (PC/SERIAL)-(VPN/CONSOLE) and Tuning Terminal Settings as Cisco described although I've attached to cat 5 cable to each interfaces (private-public) with green Light on interface led and system led also….so what's the problem ?I m Confused

Connect the RS-232 straight-through serial cable between the Console port on the back of the VPN Concentrator and the COM1 or serial port on the console/PC.

If you are using a PC with a browser to manage the VPN Concentrator, be sure the PC is connected to the same private LAN as the VPN Concentrator.

To make the VPN Concentrator operational, you must connect at least two interfaces, usually Ethernet 1 and Ethernet 2.
