NTP configuration this suppose to be a simple task, but it really gives me a headache.
server:
ntp authentication-key 1 md5 cisco
ntp master
client
ntp server 172.30.12.1 key 1
ntp authenticate
ntp authentication-key 1 md5 cisco
ntp trusted-key 1
What is wrong with this config?
.Aug 12 11:11:10.651: Authentication key 1
.Aug 12 11:11:10.655: NTP: packet from 172.30.12.1 failed validity tests 10
.Aug 12 11:11:10.655: Authentication failed

Found it, it was just a matter of waiting NTP is really slow.
and use on the master
ntp master 3
ntp authenticate
ntp authentication-key 1 md5 cisco
ntp trusted-key 1
