Hi,
I am working on running OSPF over PPPoE, It works fine with DHCP pool with /24 subnet but with negotiation as client is getting /32 ip address its not working because client and server are at different subnets... so what to do to get it resolve?

I already have IP address assign from DHCP... I want OSPF running between Client and Server when server assign /32 ip address to client.

I believe the rule of thiumb is this you cannot adv a /232 from DHCP when the poll is at a /24 net.

Hi Devang,
There is no workaround to have client get an ip address via PPP negotiation, it must get it via dhcp, so that you can specify the netmask.
As you have mentioned, the ospf adj;s will not form if you assign via PPP since the subnet masks are different.
