ospf -passive interface

Hi Friend

I have one question, if i have two router back to back connected and if i am using passive interface feature is using in any one of the interface, my question is how adjancy is establish.

Vinod,

I'm not sure I understand your question well. If you configure passive-interface on the interface between the two routers, the adjacency will not come up.

Let me know if that answers your question,

When you configure passive-interface in OSPF then hellos are not sent over the interface.

Due to this the adjacency will never come up
