Hi, I have an OSPF network with RIP as backup. On 1 particular site, I have a spoke router(called RTRa) running OSPF with his hub end(Central A) over frame relay. The problem is that there is a secondary router(Called Sec_RTRA) plugged into this spoke and OSPF is extended out to this back to back router. Hanging off this router are multiple other remote routers.
On failure of the primary WAN, ISDN is used for backup with RIP running over it. I need to redistribute the ospf routing table from the secondary router(Sec_RTRA) into RIP but I don't want to use the redistribute ospf 1 in the RIP process. I would prefer to use a route-map but am struggling with the best solution here). I was thinking of something like redistribute ospf 1 route-map Test with the route-map Test listing the IP subnet configured on the back to back cable to the SEC_RTRA and its loopback. Is this the best way to do this? Can anyone advice?
