In one project Im having 1800 hundred branches , 1 DC & 1 DR. The branch connectivty is through VSAT link which is having a bandwidth of 32 kbps (Shared).

We are planning to run OSPF b/n DC,DR & branches. By making the branch as a stub, whether is it possible to run OSPF b/n DC & branch over GRE tunnel.

DC & DR we are using ASR1006 and in branch side we are using 1921 router. If some body can give me their inputs that should be very usefull for me.

yes you can run OSPF over a gre tunnel. Since you have limited bw and over a sat link, you would need to also consider using the on demand feature
