hi i would like to ask a simple question.....can i config ospf on 2500 router.....is there any specific needs for routing protocols like for example.....certain amount of flash or ram or hardware...thanking in advance

Router(config)# router ?
If it shows up with ospf, then you can.
Cant help you with the ram requirements, but i've done it on several lab routers with only 4MB ram, seems to work.
The flash shouldnt be a problem if you have ospf in your IOS whatever the size is. Its like saying, is the Hardisk size going to affect the performance of your PC :-)

Martin is correct. There is no hardware requirement in the 2500 to be able to run OSPF other than the requirements to be able to run the image that you have loaded. As long as you have enough RAM and Flash to be able to run a normal image the 2500 should run OSPF.
