Hi,

I'm having trouble communicating between two sites.

Can someone explain to me why I would see those "output drops" when the imput queue looks empty? Or what else does it mean.

Input queue: 0/250/0/0 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output drops: 3033

The maximum amount of packets, you can have in the software input queue is 250. Basically the hardware queue is becoming full, whihc is the putting packets in the software queue, which is still becmoing full, and dropping 3033 packets.

It's going to be hard to see it in real time, unless it's happening all the time.

When was the last time you cleared the counters?

Are you running any QoS?

Also what speed is this link?
