PA-MC-2T3+ vs PA-MC-2T3-EC

What is the difference between these two modules?

I see one supports MPLS and Frame-Relay, but is that all it is?

I have an existing T3 module that is not the EC model and it has frame-relay on it.

hi!

The New Features...

• MLPPP: MLPPP provides a method of splitting, recombining, and sequencing datagrams across multiple logical data links. It allows packets to be fragmented and the fragments to be sent at the same time over multiple point-to-point links to the same remote address.

• LFI: LFI reduces delay on slower-speed links by breaking up large datagrams and interleaving low-delay traffic packets with the smaller packets resulting from the fragmented datagram.

• MLFR: MLFR provides a cost-effective way to increase bandwidth for particular applications by enabling multiple serial links to be aggregated into a single bundle of bandwidth. It is supported on User-Network Interfaces (UNIs) and Network-to-Network Interfaces (NNIs) in Frame Relay networks.

• FRF.12: FRF.12 allows long data frames to be fragmented into smaller pieces. This process allows real-time traffic and non-real-time traffic to be carried together on lower-speed links without causing excessive delay to the real-time traffic.
