PA-T3+ framing query

I have two locations connected together using PA-T3+ cards with subscription of clear channel DS3 line.

There are three types of framing available for PA-T3+ adapter - C-Bit, M13 & Bypass. Given that if we are using the line for point to point IP data transfer, would bypass mode be a better option than C-Bit since it does not have framing overhead?

In what scenario would C-Bit/M-13 be preferred? A check on the Net indicates that C-Bit has better maintenance options while M-13 channelised format.
