Passing Bandwidth through ASR1006 and Catalyst 6503
I currently have our bandwidth coming in to an ASR1006 and connected to that is a catalyst 6509 switch. We have a spare Catalyst 6503 laying around and I am wanting to plug it directly into the ASR and use as a standard switch to pass bandwidth to machines I plug into the 6503. I have assigned an ip address to a port on the ASR and have it physically connected to an access port in the 6503. Can someone help me as to what needs to be done to be able to pass bandwith via the ports in the 6503?
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
