Passing VLANs over an Encrypted Link

Hello all,

I am trying to pass VLAN traffic over an encrypted microwave link. I have a 3620 router on one side connected to a 6509-E Core switch where the VLAN.dat lives. The 3620 passes through an ecryption device out the microwave link to a 2611 router with a 3560G on it. I have created a GRE Tunnel and can ping the tunnel ends. RipV2 is being used for simplicity. I am trying to pass 3 VLANs over the tunnel, one of which is Voice.

So just for clarification:

6509-E Core- 3620 - encryption - microwave - encryption - 2611 - 3560G - user computer/phone

Please provide any thoughts.

Thanks!

Bill

So why do you not just connect a trunk port of the switch with the 3 vlans to the coresponding encryption device ?

It lokks like you do not need the 3620/2611 Routers.
