Re: PBR & PBR Session capacity in 3750, 4500 & 6700

Hi,

PBR is supported in Hw on those boxes:

3750:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750/software/release/12.2_20_se/configuration/guide/swiprout.html#wp1228588

Also 3750 has the following restriction:

- Doesn't support deny statement in the route-map or in the ACL

- Only set ip next-hop is supported.

4500:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst4500/12.2/50sg/configuration/guide/pbroute.html

Only the set ip next-hop is supported in Hw. Other action will need Software assistance (PBR Flow switching) up to 4096 flows. Beyond flows will be switched in software

6500:

The sup720 supports set ip next-hop, set ip default next-hop, set interface Null 0 and set default interface Null0 in hardware. Other action are supported in software.

HTH

Laurent.
