Hello at all.
We are using two ASR1001 with IOS-XE version 15.1(3)S2 and IP base license to connect to two different ISP.
We want to configure PfR on these routers. Can someone suggest new IOS version, feature set and license?
Many thanks.
Regards.

Andrea-
IP Base should work fine. You will want to upgrade to IOS-XE 3.3 so one of your routers can be the Master Controller.
Hope it helps.

Hi Adrea,
I agree with Collin. you can go for higher release(IOS XE-3.4s or 3.5s) whcih has support for additional features like target discovery, netflow export v9 format etc

Hello and many thanks for your help.
Actual system image file is "asr1001-universalk9.03.04.02.S.151-3.S2.bin". So if I understand well, ASR is running 3.4.2S,
Where am I doing wrong!?

Yes, this document helps.
But if ASR runs 3.4, why I'm not able to configure PfR?

About PfR from DOCWIKI....
What are the Software Image requirements for Cisco Performance Routing (PfR) on the ASR1k?
ASR1001: Use Universal Image (U or UK9) with Advanced IP Services (AIS) or Advanced Enterprise Services (AES) technology package license

Andrea,
Will have a look on ehy PFR commands are not available, meanwhile if you are keen on implementing PFR would suggest to use 3.9s which i feel is a much stable version for PFR.

Many thanks for your suggestion. At the end, we need to upgrade software to 3.9 and license to AIS or AES.

Thats correct. Other version less that 3.9 also support but i recommened 3.9. If you have a lab can try with some lower versions
Why 3.4s isnt supporting remains as a puzzle!!

So that's where it is hiding, in the docwiki. I looked everywhere in CCO and jumped into every ASR I could find. All had the pfr commands. Sorry about that.
