PIX 501 static NAT

Hi,

We have Cisco PIX 501 firewall, on the inside interface configured 192.168.1.0/24 network, on the outside - /29 public network. Internal hosts access outside world via PAT. There is a server (http, https, ftp) on the inside network with a static NAT to a public IP. There is also access list applied to the outside interface wich allows incoming http, https, ftp traffic from any host. Everything works fine, the server on the LAN is perfectly accessable from the Internet.

Is it possible to access the server from the inside LAN using its public IP address ?

Is it possible to access http, https, ftp services from the server itself using its public IP?

If so, what should be configured?

Thank you very much.

Hi,

I think its possible .But I have not tried from inside segment . Pls have a try

Try using " alias " in the Pix . But the users who were all these days accessing with private ip from diff segment would not be able to do access via private ip.
