Solved: Power consumption, in kVA?

Guys, I am building a data center and I need to find power for my network gear based on kVA and volts. So far I found power specification for my Cat 6509 and router 3845 in Watts.

Anyone here know how I can find kVA info for each of the devices I listed above. I've done a search on cisco.com, but that information is not clear to me.

You're probably trying to figure out how big of a UPS you're going to need since those are typically sized in kVA.

kVA is more or less equal to a kilowatt, assuming that all your power supplies are power factor corrected, which nearly all modern ones are.

So if your drawing 15amps at 120volts, you're pulling 1800 watts or 1.8 kVA ( watts = volts * amps and theres 1000 watts in a kilowatt / kilovolt-amp etc).
