Dear Friends,
I was wondering if there is any way/command to power off cisco routers/ switches remotely. Thanks!

Manoj,
AFAIK the Cisco routers/switches do not support any command to power off remotely. However, you can use a third party UPS with an integrated terminal server to power off/on CPE remotely. Some high end switches may support the option of powering off the modules in a switch.

Hi,
Only command to power cycle them.
way and command has many meanings. There is another way which is to command someone in the remote site to power/switch off the router/switch. A little joke there :)

Manoj,
A quick google search found this link on remote power management. Have a look at it.

For this u need to insall smart Ip based Kvm switch at remote end.
so by accessing the powered KVM through ip , you can shout down the devices at remote end.
