PPP - Call restriction

Configured the ppp on cisco router 2800 by the serial interface + dial up external 56k modem connected by telephone company. What my question is that i need to allow only the phone calls from  - specified number in router, because my client is connected through only Dial up modem+PC. block the unknown number

I found some solution about dialer commands.  But I dont know how much this will help to solve.

This is not a ISDN

This is not a Voice Network

I am not using any access server or any PBX.

Router cannot know the calling number. If the external modem can receive CLID, then you have to cofnoigure there, otherwise it is not possible.

dialer strin XXXXX

This  is suitable for allowing for incoming / outgoing for the particular call.

If u know exact commands for allowing calls please share with US.

Answered above already: router does not know calling number and no command will help.

I have the CLID facility, The "dialer command" which i shared this forum is correct.? If you know the exact command please do share your idea briefly, or clearly explain How to configure.

Again for the third time:

Router cannot know the calling number.

Consequently, router cannot block based on calling number

Maybe you can accept incomming call do authentication and callback to a predefined nummer?
After callback the Sissing is complete.
