this just drives me crazy. I have a ADSL scenario on one side, with Cisco 837 ADSL Router which uses PPPoE (over ATM). The ATM connection passses through a DSLAM, an Altran Total Access 1200 with a Quad IMA module on the network side. I am just using a single E1-link, so I am using pass through mode for the ATM connection. And on the other side a have a Cisco 2610 with a VWIC-1MFT-E1 card. I don´t want to use the voice functions at all, all I want to do is getting the PPPoE connection from the ADSL Router in order to authenticate the user with an external RADIUS server which is connected by a 100BaseT card at the Cisco 2610.
The Router has IOS 12.3(13a) running. The DSLAM is telling me that the E1 link is established but the IMA module is not in sync.
So I tried using the E1 link as a serial interface with all possible timeslots (1-31) and running atm-dxi encapsulation on it.
Is that correct ? Anybody have some input what I am doing wrong ?
