Problem with 2821 SDRAM KCS-D2800/512

Hi friends,

i put this memory on 2821 router but console give me this error:

I think that this RAM is failed or not compatible. What do you think about it? Can you give me an answer? thanks

Hi Friend,

The "SDRAM ECC Error" means that there was checksum error in the memory, a parity error.

Usually parity errors are transient issue but when repeated this indicates a HW failure.

It looks its a bad RAM tat you had.
