Hi,

This is explained here and it states you should contact TAC if this reoccurs:

Hi,

This is HW failure. Either memory is corrupted or switch has HW failure and cannot read it correctly. You should replace it.

Kind Regards,
Ivan Shirshin

Pop the lid, clean the connecting tips of the memory.  Put it back in and pray it'll work.

Hi ,

Thank you for reply .

Where is a memory chip on the motherboard ? I Cant find it  !

Reagard

Ooops.  2950.  No.  No memory.

The memory is wielded to the mother board.   There's another method ... not "fully" recommended (but I've done it before).

Bang it a few times on the flat side.

NOTE:  I AM serious.

Leo,

But actually your idea about cleaning the tips is sound. Even if there are only chips soldered on the motherboard, there is a (admittedly remote) chance that their pins, if accessible, have become covered with dust and have thus developed some kind of coupling, impairing their function. Dusting off the pins with a brush and compressed air could do the trick...

Best regards,

Peter
