Problems with 836 router adsl speed (I think an ATM problem)

Hi all

First I'd like to apologize for my probably stupid question, but I'm a total newbie on Cisco configs...

I have the following problem:

My ISP upgraded the speed of my ADSL line, but if I test the connection speed, it is still on the old level…(also after restarting the router)

Now the question, do I have to change my router config? If yes, what?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Regards Roman

This is not an issue because the available bandwidth formula will calculate the speed at which the data can be transfered. The formula is Available Bandwidth = (max reserved bandwidth * interface bandwidth) - (sum of priority classes)
