Qos and Avaliable bandwith

i have 4Mb bandwidth terminated on my Gigabitethernet interface. when i issue sh int Gigabitethernet 0/0 i found that there is " Available Bandwidth 3072 kilobits/sec" what does it means?

The second part of the question is if i the bandwidth is terminated on Gigabitethernet interface and 4 mb of the bandwidth is allocated to me from my service provider, i have applied Qos and have default class in it, will my router sends default class traffic with 1G and service provider router drops all extra traffic.

"will my router sends default class traffic with 1G and service provider router drops all extra traffic"

Provider might drop excess or queue. Question best anwered by provider. Or, you shape to 4 Mbps and issue doesn't arise.

For your other questions, it would help if you would identify the device, IOS and provide config and stats information. Otherwise, it's possible a general reply would be incorrect in your instance.

Re: Qos and Avaliable bandwith

And the config?

And policy-map stats, if using?

Without seeing the above, assuming you're using a CBWFQ service policy, and assuming you're set bandwidth on the interface to 4 Mbps, the 3 Mbps available bandwidth is likely the defualt available allocation for CBWFQ since it set asides 25% of link bandwidth (although that bandwidth should be usable).
