QoS mapping

Hi

We are using QoS to mapping and prioritize the traffic with dscp ef. My question is the number of match packets is 6252362, but why only has 4074 packets matched in the Queueing? Just wondering if the router is re-structure the packet? Any ideas?

Thanks. Leo

Re: QoS mapping

Hi Leo,

The software queuing only kicks in when there is congestion on the interface. So the output tells you, you have 6252362 packets match the class, and 4074 of them are been sent out during congestion.

Lei Tian
