QoS 'match protocol' on Cisco 871/W with IOS 12.4(11)T

Hi

Previously I use a Cisco 831 router and just got the Cisco 871W and Cisco 2960 to implement QoS to control the network traffic.

On Cisco 831 where we could 'match protocol http mime {mime type}' in class-map, however on 871 they do not have the similar syntax for ADVIPSERVICES image. In addition matching P2P protocols were also missing on the 871 platform for some reason, just wondering if anyone had any idea on how to configure matching http and P2P protocols on 871 platform?

Thanks in advance. :)

Hi

I feel you need to have NBAR enabled on your box before doing the classification based on protocols.

Have you enabled the same on your Cisco 831 router ?
