QoS on WIC-1ENET or WIC-4ESW?

I'm probably trying to squeeze too much out of old hardware here, but does anyone know what kind of queueing and QoS is supported on the WIC-1ENET or WIC-4ESW, specifically in 1721's?

We're toying with the idea of using these to give a cheap, new lease of life to some 1721 routers on remote office sites. (the service provider run an MPLS core with SHDSL to the site, terminated on an ethernet port)

The majority of references to QoS on 1721's I can find refer to QoS features on the ADSL WICs, which are no use to me.

I'm looking for LLQ/priority queueing (for voice & video) and hopefully WRED or shaping to assist in preventing file transfers and the like from killing Citrix sessions.

We could upgrade to 1841's but I'd rather not go that far unless absolutely necessary.

Hi

You should look for Committed Access Rate(CAR) on cisco routers.Thats a good solution for Priority queuing.

As for other need "Policy Routing " will do the needfull.

See following for CAR

Re: QoS on WIC-1ENET or WIC-4ESW?

Is CAR supported on the ethernet interfaces of these WICs or doesn't IOS care about the interface type for this functionality?
