High-level topology design

1 Cisco 3560 48 port Layer  3 switch with the enhanced image at the main site.

The 3560 is used in a Layer 2 MPLS network and inter-network routing between VLANS.

A SVI is configured for the MPLS network and other internal networks.

One port g0/5 is configured on the MPLS Vlan that connects to the Ethernet link provided by the provider for MPLS connectivity via BGP.

The MPLS speed is 9 Mbps for the main site.

There are 100 remote sites that connect at 1.5 Mbps to the main central site at 9 Mbps.

Each site traffic is voice and minimal data.

The g0/5 is configured at 100 Mbps / Full duplex with the provider switch using a fiber to copper converter that connects to the 3560.

The interfaces are clean and no errors are present.

Should I configure traffic shaping on SVI so traffic does not leave or enter higher than 9 Mbps?

Can someone provide some examples if shaping is required on SVI for a 3560 switch and if it should be egress or ingress?

I believe all shaping options are egress but not 100% sure and not sure if they can be applied to a SVI.
