I'm testing for a client with 2 x routers 2911 and 2 x switch 3560 (N2/N3). Currently I have 4 vlans on the core network (SW1 & SW2 3560 with HSRP) which inter-VLAN routing.
Data Vlan: 10.33.0.0 / 24
Vlan Admin: 10.33.1.0 / 24
VoIP Vlan: 10.33.2.0 / 24
Voice Vlan: 10.33.3.0 / 24
RTR1 the first router is connected to the first core SW1 and MPLS router operator (connects this site to all remote sites).
RTR2 the second router is connected to the 2nd core SW2 and the same MPLS router operator.
MPLS network interco-RTR1: 172.28.100.0 / 25
MPLS network interco-RTR2: 172.28.100.128 / 25
I make EIGRP routing with 2 instances (one for Vlans data / admin 100 and one for Vlans VoIP / voice 110) on the two routers and two switches.
I want to focus traffic of Vlans Data / Admin on router RTR1 and the traffic of VLAN VoIP / Voice on the router RTR2. By cons if one of the two routers is down, all traffic must pass through the router is ok with a priority on the Data VLAN / admin.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
