I have a WS-C3548-XL-EN switch with a bad gigabit port and am having troubles determining if it is on a lifetime warranty (I'd like to get it replaced if I can).
From what I gather it was put on EoS/EoL back in July 2002, and the limited lifetime warranty 'expires' 5 years after that date, meaning the lifetime warranty no longer applies to this switch. Am I correct in this assumption?
Basically I am just seeking confirmation on this. Please let me know or point me in the right direction if I am off base.
