"cisco 805 error message during boot"

when i turn on my cisco 805 i get this message:

"Configured boot failed, attempting fallback boot."

but it works fine after finishing power on sequence.

Does anyone know waht it means?

This kind of message generally indicates that the configuration specifies an image file to boot but that the specified image can not be booted. A common cause of this is that the router was configured to boot a specific image file, the image was updated, the boot commands were not updated. Perhaps you can post the output of show flash and any boot commands that are in the config file.

Thank you for posting additional information. What you posted shows that there is a single image file in flash and that is the image that the router is running.

However you did not post output from the config file. Are there any boot statements in the config file?

It would also be helpful if you would boot the router, capture the messages that are generated during the boot process and post those messages. These might help determine what the problem is.
