RAM Access message in 3548-XL

Hi:

I have and old 3548-XL, I dont known why but it became to send some messages in the log.

Bad hardware. Get this part replaced.

Hi,

This is a hardware failure on the BOX.

Ram Access Frames are special control packets used within the switch for internal configuration. The CPU has different internal queues for different kinds of packets. Some

such queues are designated to receive these frames. Regular network traffic should NOT get

forwarded to these queues. You see the message when regular network traffic gets incorrectly

forwarded to one of these queues.

This is failure related to the switch hardware. Go ahead and get the part replaced.
