not able to find a traffic shaping utility that would rate limit a port of TCP protocol in a GRE infrastructure. GTS would be perfect, but it doesn't work in a GRE tunnel.
Any suggestions?
thanks, Kevin

Hello Kevin,
you should try to use Class based Shaping with modular QoS
see

Hope to help

Giuseppe, excellent launch URL into QoS. My concern is, I think most traffic shaping QoS is applied on the out-going interface.
In my implementation, the remote site's WAN connection is an Ethernet ISP hand-off. This remote site is to be a "spoke" in a DMVPN infrastructure.
We're going to GRE "EIGRP" out to remote spokes as this one. So ultimately,
the question is "can you use traffic shaping in a DMVPN solution using GRE?"
