Hi all,

This is v. embarrassing and urgent. Problem is - I think - easily solved, but not by me evidently :(

I need to prioritize the traffic from 1 network above that of another over a WAN link. It *must* be easy but I just don't know how to approach it so get too much info from Cisco website.

Backround: I've got a remote site with 2 vlans on a 3560 with IP Base. One port is configured as a rtr port for connection into a satellite service (just simple ethernet presentation and static routes)

One of these vlans must always take precedence over the other. At this stage I don't even need to worry about the type of traffic or anything.

Pls, pls help .. and thanks in advance,

mike

You can create 2 separate class-maps matching 1 network each. Then under policy map define the BW you want to assign to each network as per your requirement.

Refer this link for configuration help:

Revert for any help.

hope that clarifies.
