Re: New DS3 Circuit / CISCO 3800 Series RTR's

All,

I just recently cutover to another DS3 circuit and there were errors found on the isp end at the co which caused the circuit to drop sporadically. I have been experiencing resets on my interfaces between both sites and disconnects. Can anyone help in regards to a possible rot casue and resolution to wht maybe causing these intermittent disconnections between site.

Re: Re: New DS3 Circuit / CISCO 3800 Series RTR's

The only thing I can see from what you submitted is that within the past 6 days 22 hours you show over runs on both interfaces. This happens when the router cannot process the packets through the interface fast enough. You may possibly have a memory issue with the router. You may need more memory. You state that this is another T-3. Does that mean that you already have a T-3 and you got another new one to make (2) T-3's or you had a T-3 and swapped it out with another new T-3? If you have (2) T-3's then you probably have memory issues. Do a Show Process Memory to see how much memory is being used. Also my guess is that your problem only happens during peak traffic times. You will need to do the command during your peak hours.Good Luck..Please rate...
