Re: Reg:2800 router isp failover and loadbalance

I believe in this your case the routing is made by static routes.

To achive load-balance the ISP needs to configure your lan address in both links and you need to set a default static route to both links. Its recommended to active CEF in your router.

Ex:

CPE > Link1 - Ip x.x.x.x. ISP > Link1

CPE > Link2 - Ip y.y.y.y. ISP > Link2

In CPE ( Your Router )

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 x.x.x.x

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 y.y.y.y

ip cef

Plz Rate.
