HI
thanks for instant reply. I respect ur feedback but the first link u send me , see the table 3 . it shows that this module has N/A for 2821 router . I am bit confused what should I choose ??
Thanks

4-port asynchronous/synchronous serial network module ; Part no. NM-4A/S referring to following link. But this not support beyond 128 Kbps
. It support to both synchronous and anysynchronous communication
>>> NM-4T does not support to 2821 router
>> NM-CEM-4SER is Four-port Channelized,Unchannelized E1/T1Network Module (Provides four Smart Serial
(Cisco 12-in-1) ports for bit-transparent transport services. Each port may be V.35, X.21, RS-422/449,
RS-530, RS-530A, or RS-232. Each port may be DCE or DTE supporting data rates from 200 bps to 2048 Kbps.)
>> NM-CEM-4TE1 - Four-port Channelized, Unchannelized E1/T1 Network Module Provides four RJ-45
channelized/unchannelized, framed/unframed T1/E1 ports forbit-transparent transport services.
Information about circuit emulation - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/hw/routers/ps274/products_qanda_item09186a0080204358.shtml
I think NM-CEM-4SER more suitable to you..

There is an emply slot, but I suppose you will need it for some other purpose
You can replace HWIC-4FE, then use HWIC-4T1/E1
If used for data, you can also replace the 2 VWIC with one HWIC-4T1/E1.

Thanks for reply. Actually I also considered this HWIC already but the thing is due to my requirement I have to get one more module for some other connections and I found everywhere but no results for this module .
thanks

It's very interesting... indeed.. will keep digging something...Do you have anything specific in mind so far?

HI
I am also thinking about CEM . Dont know exactly what to do . Actually I have searched a lot about it and even talked to lot of frnds but didnt get results. I hope we will find something about it .
Thanks
Taran

As mentioned above, since you have no need for CEM, these products are now right for you.
Beside, they are very espensive.
You only have to replace the VWIC for HWIC as indicated above.

I think NM-CEM-4SER more suitable to you..
Incorrecte, the OP does not need to do CEM, consequently CEM modules are NOT suiltable.
