Reinstall IOS on router 871 W

I have an Router 871W with no bootable image file. I tried to upload a new IOS using hyper terminal and xmodem but get an error message ERR:Image size exceeds free flash space.

How do i re-install the IOS?

I have attached text from hyper terminal.

Hi,

You need to delete your corrupted file from ROMmon before uploading the new one via xmodem

You can also try to use the "tftpdnld" feature.

The error makes me think your IOS of choice is > than the total amount of flash?
