I have a Cisco 800 Router that provides internet connectivity to my remote users with a Cisco ASA 5505 VPN Appliance. The 800 Router is configured to provide Dynamic DNS Services and refreshes DynDNS.org when the IP address from my internet provider changes.
In a few weeks we will be moving to a new office space and will be using a different Internet Service Provider. We will continue to use DynDNS rather than implementing a static IP address.
Will any reconfiguration be required on either of my devices or should I be able to power up and resume? Thanks very much for your help.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
