What is more important is what is your WAN bandwidth?

I finally got in contact with my coworker in Hong Kong and got the specs....it is a a 512k with only 6

active customers so from that it appears what I have is good to go but minus the NME-WAE-502-K9 module

as their is really no need for WAN optimization for this.

512K????

Nuts.  I haven't heard of this kind of WAN bandwidth since 2005.  Couldn't you just settle for a xDSL line instead?

I guess if you want to do VoIP then the 2900 ISR G2 is the way to go.  With that tiny bandwidth, in my opinion, a WAAS would be nice to have.

I don't understand why, however, you need a V35 cable for.  How is the ISP terminating the link?  Couldn't the ISP terminate as RJ?

LOL yeah I know it is a 512k frame relay circuit....this connection is just for price files an there is only

like 6 users pulling these files I found out so  there is no voice or video or any high bandwidth application

on this.  Like you said the WAAS would be nice but in this case I think for what they use it  for is over kill.

But I apprciate your input on all this I actually found what the WAAS does yesterday(my friday) and after

reading it and finding out what they use this link for determined that we didn't really need this.  Thank you

for all your help on this!!!

Why not investigate the pricing for an xDSL line instead?

On the contrary, a WAN accelerator is perfect for a link like this.
