Re: Req. 4 byte BGP support in cisco 3750G-12S-S ?

Hello Vaibhav,

a C1841 is accredited of 75000 packet per second pps with no feature.

This is equivalent to 38 Mbps.

It cannot handle 45 Mbps on a link and an additional link.

also there is no easy mechanism to trigger usage of second ISP when first link is full.

about 3750G I don't think it is able to support 4 byte ASN in current IOS versions

see

feature navigator

www.cisco.com/go/fn

Hope to help

Re: Req. 4 byte BGP support in cisco 3750G-12S-S ?

Hello Vaibhav,

see following example of eBGP multihoming

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk365/technologies_configuration_example09186a008009456d.shtml

you may want to be sure to be not a transit point between ISPs

ip as-path access-list 11 permit ^$

you then add

neigh isp1 filter-list 11 out

neigh isp 2 filter-list 11 out

Hope to help

Re: Req. 4 byte BGP support in cisco 3750G-12S-S ?

Hello Vaibhav,

I don't think C3750 supports 4 byte ASN in current IOS releases.

as you can see here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/iosswrel/ps6537/ps6554/ps6599/data_sheet_C78-521821.html

only routers and C6500/7600 support it
