Resetting configuration on Catalyst 2900 XL

How do I reset the configuration of a Catalyst 2900 without going through the command prompt?

Hello,

If you have an IP address on the 2900 Switch you can use your browser and point it to the URL address http://Switch_IP_address

THere you can reset the configuration.

However, if the switch does not have IP address of the web installed and enabled you have to use the console.

Once in the console issue the below commands

enable

"enter enable password"

wr er

reload

No way to. I can only guess that the reason that you would ask that question is because you do not know the password.
