Restricting one VLAN routing

Hi,

We are having 4506 switch and we have configured VALNs on it. There is one VLAN which we dont want to take part in inter vlan routing. That means any pc from that VLAN must not be able to access any other resources from any other VLAN. Some thing like Private VLAN.

Any link on cisco.com to restrict a particular VLAN from routing.

Thanks in advance

Re: Restricting one VLAN routing

Hi Subodh

if you do not want the vlan to particpate in inter-vlan routing simply remove the layer 3 SVI for that vlan ie.

vlan 10

4506(config)# no int vlan 10

Deos this meet your requirements.
