What is the main difference between RIP-v2 and RIP-v1?

subnet mask information is contained in updates should be the right one as RIPv1 is classfull while RIPv2 is classless routing protocol.

Hi, two of these are correct:

Hi,

Use of 224.0.0.9 multicast address for diffusing updates in place of 255.255.255.255 broadcast address.
