Role Based Access Configuration: Dialer interface config lost on reboot
We have been trying out a Role based Access configuration on Cisco 1801 routers. The problem we are facing is that the Dialer interface configuration disappears as soon as the router is rebooted. I have manged to drill down to the fact that this is a IOS problem. If we use the follwoing IOS
on the Cisco 1801 router then it works fine. As soon as we use the latest IOS we have this problem.
Is there a work around for this probelm.
The Role base configuration is as follows:
parser view XXXXXXXXX
secret 5 XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
commands interface include ppp pap sent-username
commands interface include ppp pap
commands interface include ppp chap password
commands interface include ppp chap hostname
commands interface include ppp chap
commands interface include ppp
commands interface include pppoe
commands interface include shutdown
commands interface include ip address
commands interface include ip
commands interface include switchport
commands interface include no ppp pap sent-username
